Solar System Webquest Teacher Page

This Solar System webquest is designed to help students discover more about the different planets in our Solar System. They are required to complete basic research on each planet (besides earth) and then conduct more in depth research on one specific planet on which they will complete their assessment task.

Teacher Tips for success:

  • Students are provided with a workbook, this can either be filled out online and saved, printed for each student, or teachers often choose to have the students write out the answers in their Science books.

  • For the assessment task: Depending on the levels of students within your class it may be beneficial to choose a planet together to complete a modelled version of the task. It may also be beneficial to outline as a whole class how to create a brochure.

  • We always include an extension for early finishing students, this can be found on the final page of the webquest.
