We are so excited to bring you this webquest and we think it is a must for all young girls and also boys â€‹to view women as empowering and inspirational. There is no password for this webquest as it is one of our permanently free webquests because we feel it is such an essential topic. Students are tasked with researching one of 5 incredible women and creating a biography of their person based on their research.

Teacher Tips for success:

  • This webquest has been designed with numerous student ability levels in mind. Within each of the resource sections we have designed it so that the more reader friendly and simple resources are the first ones and they become progressively more difficult. We might also suggest having more advanced students choose an individual not on our list so as to do their own resource collection.

  • We have included an extension activity for students who finish early that we really encourage. Students are tasked with writing a letter to an inspiring woman in their life as well as identifying inspiring traits within themselves or traits they wish to adopt.

  • This webquest can be altered depending on the student year level through lowering or increasing expectations surrounding the biography.
